Glacier Roofing and Exteriors, is looking for a Project Assistant to join the team. This entry-level position is perfect for a high school or college student looking to get into the trades and expand their knowledge of the home improvement/construction industry!

Glacier seeks this candidate to work closely with our Sales and Support team to assist on both residential and commercial re-construction projects. The Project Assistant will report directly to the Field Supervisor and Owner/President.

As the company grows, there will be opportunities for the Project Assistant to take on new responsibilities and to share in the company’s success through our bonus and profit share program

Responsibilities (training provided)

Assist in managing repairs/punch list item with Production staff
Assist in exterior repairs such as: fascia, siding, trimwork, leaf guard, gutters and other trades that come up before or after the project.
Assist with material pickup/scheduling and delivery to jobsite
Assist with Exterior projects (siding/windows/doors/gutter/gutter guard)
Assist with Reconstruction projects (interior / remodels/ decks / Other)
Assist with other miscellaneous tasks per Field Supervisor
Maintain a professional appearance

Skills/qualifications

Entry-level position but knowledge of some construction practices a plus
Strong communication and personnel management skills
Comfortable climbing ladders and walking on roofs
Handyman and carpentry skills are a plus
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to maintain professional appearance (freshly shaven, clean uniform, drug-free, etc.)
Must be willing to take and pass a drug test
Must be willing to take and pass a background check

Status, Compensation, Worksite

Full-Time (Salaried) – some Saturdays and Evenings / when the job is complete
Salary level is DOE
Strong growth potential (income/knowledge)
